I am a Dermatologist working in Brisbane. I see people every day regarding Melanoma. Patients who need their skin checked, patients who need melanomas removed and followed up. Then there are patients I need to refer on for advanced treatment as their cancer has spread. 

Not that long ago, the out come for patients with advanced melanoma was grim. Most died. Yet, now thanks in part to research funded by the Melanoma Institute Australia, the results are so much better. Most survive!!!

Now, I am a bit selfish here, I recently had a melanoma excised myself. It was early, so I am going to be A Ok. I know the anxiety and concern this diagnosis brings. 

So let's band together and help raise some money to support research into treatment for melanoma. So that there are ZERO DEATHS from melanoma.
